Tips for Organisers

 

The Oompah Band brings PA, mics and lighting and only needs a mains power socket, 4 chairs and some beer!

 

The Oompah Band needs sufficient space to set up (5m x 3m).

 

For Bierfests and German themed evenings encourage guests to wear Bavarian style outfits.

 

Most successful evenings include German style food and drink.

 

The Oompah Band provides 2 x 50 minute sets of entertainment including Dancing, Singing, Games and Competitions.

Bookings

The Oompah Band is much more than just a band. With their stylish Bavarian sound they bring a ‘Bierkeller’ atmosphere to any event, playing 2 x 50 mins sets to suit. They play mainly traditional Bavarian music in the first set and pop/commercial numbers in the second set. Both sets contain a high level of audience participation - including singing, swaying, clapping and an opportunity for couples to to learn the polka….! A yodelling competition is usually well-received! All of this is peppered with many opportunities for the audience to sing the traditional Bavarian drinking song - Ein Prosit! 

The Oompah Band can adapt to any venue and just need 4 chairs and a mains socket! They bring their own P.A., lights and background music for the breaks.

For larger venues The Oompah Band can augment to either a 6 piece or a full 8 piece band that sound simply amazing!
